2 Corinthians 10:11

Thousands of young people out of hopelessness and despair over their performance in competitive exams commit suicide when the results are announced. In his second letter to the church at Corinth, Paul encourages believers to live in the identity Christ has provided for them. Although as fragile and mundane as jars of clay, God’s people hold the inestimable treasure of the gospel in their lives (2 Corinthians 4:7). 2 Corinthians reminds us that we are ambassadors for Christ, tasked with showing and sharing God’s good news of reconciliation for all who believe (2 Corinthians 5:20).

What an incredible journey these twenty-one days will be as we fast, pray, and grow together. Fasting has a way of bringing every part of your life into focus in ways nothing else can do. If you will allow your moments of hunger and cravings to serve as reminders to stop and pray, you will find a closeness with your Heavenly Father like you have never known.
