Psalms 32:7

Overview: Life often feels like a battlefield, and we sometimes face enemies that seem impossible to overcome. Yet God promises us a divine strategy for victory: songs of deliverance. Through praise, worship, and faith, He surrounds us with His protection and leads us into victory without us needing to fight. Over the next three days, we will explore Psalm 32:7 and 2 Chronicles 20, learning from Jehoshaphat’s story how to position ourselves in God’s presence and receive His salvation.

Everyone has a past they cannot change, a present they must live and a future they cannot yet see. Psalm 32 shows us God’s heart for each of these areas. Through David’s testimony, we discover that God offers forgiveness for our past, guidance for our future and his presence for today. May you be encouraged to leave yesterday behind, trust God with tomorrow and walk closely with him in the present.

God speaks to His children today just as He did in Bible times—through Scripture, dreams, people, desires, pain. How do we discern what He is saying? How do we quiet our lives enough to hear the divine whispers that draw us closer to Him? I pray this five-day devotional will inspire you to hear God’s voice of love in a new, life-changing way…as the whisper of a God who wants to hold you close.

Jesus quoted the Psalms more than any other book in the Old Testament. It has been the church's hymn book for centuries. Dive deeper into the riches of the Psalms and discover how they help us live more fully and walk with God more honestly as we wrestle with anger and sadness, enemies and justice, life and death.
