We all experience difficult seasons of trial. These seven words—or postures of the heart—help remind us how and why we give God praise. They come from Hebrew words used throughout the Old Testament to describe different expressions of worship. They are some of the most powerful and descriptive, giving us a deeper understanding of what God means when He invites us to worship Him. As you go through each of these seven words this week, take time to be intentional—not just with your words or songs, but with the posture of your heart in worship.
