1 Corinthians 5:6

The seven feasts outlined in the Old Testament were not just significant for the Israelites, they are significant to us today because they are symbolic of God’s perfect plan. For believers today, these feasts represent freedom because Jesus came to set us free. As you go through this plan, allow Jesus to reveal Himself to you. When you feast on Jesus, you’ll be set free!

The first epistle to the Corinthians covers several issues that are relevant to Christians today. By drawing lessons from 1 Corinthians 1-7, Dr. David Mende encourages us to live for Christ in a corrupt world.

The church at Corinth was plagued by internal division and sinful derision. Paul provides the only solution potent enough for their disunity and spiritual disruptions: “Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Corinthians 1:10). 1 Corinthians reminds us that by focusing on Jesus and His glorious resurrection, we too will “be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the word of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58).
