In the “God With Us” study, we will walk through Luke 2:1-38 and take a closer look at three key components of the Christmas story: the arrival, announcement, and assignment of Immanuel.

The aim of this devotion is to help you put a little bit of "Awe and Wonder" back into your celebration as you contemplate and celebrate the birth of Jesus from a child-like faith. During this special time of Christmas celebration, may you prepare your heart to prepare Jesus even more room all year through.
We will look at Luke’s version of the Christmas story, with historical insights from Kenneth Bailey’s "Jesus Through Middle Eastern Eyes" (IVP, 2008). We will discover in it the surprising ways God was at work in the world. Then, we will ask God to open our eyes and ears so that we may not miss His work in our world today.
