Genesis 49:25

As parents, do we seize opportunities to make meaningful investments in our children’s lives? They can take varied forms, including keeping our promises, tracking the progress of our sons’ and daughters’ spiritual conditions, pronouncing a “blessing” (or blessings) upon them, and demonstrating our love for them through our actions (e.g., setting aside time for them) and our words (e.g., saying “I love you”). Let’s consider such ways this week.

Jesus is worthy of all praise and glory. We all look at the world's standards when we look for someone who is worthy of our praise. But in accordance to Isaiah, God's standard is different from that only of the world. Jesus, whose description is different from the world, He is the only one who is worthy of our worship.

The Westminister's Catechism states "The chief end of man is to glorify God forever." Our whole purpose in this life is to worship God and glorify Him in our lives. How then do we show our worship to Him and how do we glorify Him that is pleasing and acceptable to Him?
