Deuteronomy 12:2

Join us in praying through the storms our country is facing with this 7-day reading plan featuring prayers from The One Year Pray for America Bible.

Standing on the edge of the Promised Land, Israel is preparing for a new chapter. Moses reminds them who God is, what He has done and how they are called to live as His people. Discover why Deuteronomy is foundational to understanding the Bible, how God’s laws flow from His covenant relationship with His people, and what this ancient book teaches us about loving and following God today.

This is the fifth part of a reading plan through the Bible, following the lectionary pattern of reading in the Psalms, Old Testament, and New Testament each day. In addition, each day this month will feature a memorization challenge for the Apostles' Creed, and there will be brief devotionals from different people in our Church scattered throughout the plan.

These historical books ground God’s people in what has always been true of God, calling them to centre their lives on the worship of the God who reigns above all and whose kingdom will outlast every worldly power. Join us as we journey through the history of God’s people, rejoicing in the faithfulness of a God who keeps His promises to a wayward people from generation to generation.
