Having friends is a fundamental element of ordinary life; choosing the right friends is an essential factor for an abundant life. In this four day study, you’ll learn how to discern between fools and friends, how to separate yourself from fools, and build intentional friendships that will move you toward the abundant life God promises.

Christians are different. They can’t help it. When you’re born again and filled with the Spirit, it changes you. This leads to different values about right and wrong, and a different lifestyle to match it. This series of 5-day plans uses the 10 Commandments (following the classic Augustinian ordering) as a vehicle for an alternative, Christ-like morality and Jesus-way of living.

Those who struggle with mental illness frequently feel isolated and alone. However, God is with us in our suffering. We will examine five Bible characters who struggled with mental illness. We will then consider the new heaven and new earth, where mental illness will be no more.

This reading plan will introduce you to the book of Samuel, including why and under what circumstances the book was written and how it applies to Christians today.
