Ænd swa eac þanne calic; syððen he geeten hafde ⁊cwæð. Þes calic is niwe cyðnis on minen blode se beoð for eow agoten.

⁊he wæs on gewinne ⁊hine lange gebæd ⁊his swat wæs swilce blodes dropen on eorðe eornende.

ac ne beo ge na swa. Ac gewurðe he swa swa gingre se ðe yldre ys betweox eow. And se forsteppend ys beo he swilce he þein syo.

Þa cwæð he. Ic segge þe petrus; ne cræwð se coc todaig ær þu me ætsecst þreowe.
