they say, that they know Hashem, denying him however with their deeds, being unworthy and rebellious and who fit not for any in no way deeds good.

for the pure (people) is all pure; for those however, who are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but their understanding and conscience is defiled.

who holds himself by the faithful word according to the doctrine, so that he shall be able both exhort to do in the healthy doctrine, also to speak reproving to the gainsayer.

because the overseer must be without a flaw, as Hashem's steward; not stubborn, not any quick-tempered, not any drunkard, not any fighter, not inclined to shameful (money) gain; but a bringing in stranger, who has love (for) the good, with authority over self, a righteous person, a holy one

if one is without a flaw, the husband of one wife, has faithful children, whom one accuses not of debauchery, or disobedience.
