Because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold, but he who endures to the end will be saved.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for all these things must take place, but the end is not yet.

For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are the beginning of the labor pains.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will certainly not pass away.

For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name. Many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will rise up and lead many astray.

Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray.

Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect him.

Therefore keep watch, for you do not know in what hour your Lord is coming.

“No one knows about that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but only my Father.

For false christs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen.

As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah went into the ark. They knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.
