Here I am! I’ll keep standing at the door and knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I’ll come in and eat with that person, and they’ll eat with me.

‘I know what you’ve been doing. I know you’re not cold and you’re not hot. I wish you were one or the other! But you’re lukewarm—you’re not hot or cold. So I’m going to spit you out of my mouth.

‘I warn and correct those I love. So be eager to do what’s right and turn away from your sins.

‘I know what you’ve been doing. Look! I’ve opened a door in front of you, and no one can shut it. I know you don’t have much strength, but you’ve obeyed my word, and you haven’t denied me.

‘If anyone wins the victory, I’ll give that person the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I won the victory and sat down with my Father on his throne.

You say, “I’m rich, I’ve become wealthy, and I don’t need anything.” But you don’t realize that you’re pitiful, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.

You’ve kept my command to remain strong in the faith no matter what happens, so I’m going to keep you from the time of suffering that the rest of the world is going to experience. That suffering will test those who live on the earth.

‘I’m coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one will take away your crown.

Wake up! Strengthen what’s left and is about to die. I haven’t found that you’ve done everything my God wants you to do.
