Os seus olhos eram como chamas de fogo e na sua cabeça havia muitas coroas. Nele havia um nome escrito e ninguém sabia o que esse nome significava, a não ser ele mesmo. Ele estava vestido com um manto que havia sido tingida em sangue e o seu nome era “A Palavra de Deus”.

O monstro foi capturado juntamente com o falso profeta que tinha realizado milagres na sua presença. Com estes milagres, ele tinha enganado aqueles que tinham recebido a marca do monstro e que tinham adorado a sua imagem. E tanto o monstro como o falso profeta foram jogados vivos dentro do lago de fogo que queima com enxofre.
