Psalms 9:7-12
Psalms 9:7-12 The Message (MSG)
GOD holds the high center, he sees and sets the world’s mess right. He decides what is right for us earthlings, gives people their just deserts. GOD’s a safe-house for the battered, a sanctuary during bad times. The moment you arrive, you relax; you’re never sorry you knocked. Sing your songs to Zion-dwelling GOD, tell his stories to everyone you meet: How he tracks down killers yet keeps his eye on us, registers every whimper and moan.
Psalms 9:7-12 King James Version (KJV)
But the LORD shall endure for ever: He hath prepared his throne for judgment. And he shall judge the world in righteousness, He shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: For thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: Declare among the people his doings. When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: He forgetteth not the cry of the humble.
Psalms 9:7-12 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
But the LORD abides forever; He has established His throne for judgment, And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity. The LORD also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble; And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion; Declare among the peoples His deeds. For He who requires blood remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the afflicted.
Psalms 9:7-12 New Century Version (NCV)
But the LORD rules forever. He sits on his throne to judge, and he will judge the world in fairness; he will decide what is fair for the nations. The LORD defends those who suffer; he defends them in times of trouble. Those who know the LORD trust him, because he will not leave those who come to him. Sing praises to the LORD who is king on Mount Zion. Tell the nations what he has done. He remembers who the murderers are; he will not forget the cries of those who suffer.

But Jehovah sitteth as king for ever: He hath prepared his throne for judgment; And he will judge the world in righteousness, He will minister judgment to the peoples in uprightness. Jehovah also will be a high tower for the oppressed, A high tower in times of trouble; And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; For thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
