CUSTOMER SERVICE/RETURN POLICY
- Whom do I contact for questions about my order?
- You can contact our customer service center by phone at 1-866-215-5031. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST, Monday-Friday. After hours, you can leave a voice mail message. You can also email us at order@bible.com.
- Can I place my order by phone, fax or mail if I am not comfortable ordering on-line?
- You can place your order by phone or fax toll free to 1-866-215-5031. Monday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MST. Please also see our Privacy Policy on Bible.com.
- Can I cancel all or part of an order? If so, how?
- If you have already submitted and confirmed your order, you can cancel all or part of your order by calling customer service at 1-866-215-5031.
- What payment options are available? Do you only accept credit cards, and if so, which ones?
- Several payment options are available by calling toll free 1-866-215-5031. Credit cards only are accepted on-line. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. You will need to provide your card number, expiration date and CVV code.
- What is your return policy?
- We can only accept returns on unused or defective merchandise. Music, videos and software must be unopened. All merchandise must be returned in saleable condition. For your protection, return the product insured via UPS, Fedex or the U.S. Mail. Please be sure to keep your receipt as we cannot credit your account if the product is not received by us. Returns must be received within 30 days of your receiving the product. Shipping, handling or insurance fees are not refundable and there is a 20% restocking fee.
- How long will it take to credit my account after a return?
- Please allow 3 weeks for the product to be credited back to your account.
- How long will it take to replace my merchandise if I send it back for a return/exchange?
- Please allow up to 2 weeks for your merchandise to be delivered after a return/exchange.
- Do you charge sales tax?
- The tax rate applied to your order will generally be the combined state and local taxes for the address where your order is shipped. Therefore, the sales tax rate applied to an order may be different for an order shipped to your home address than an order for the very same items shipped to another address in a different city or state. Bible.com obtains sales tax rates from a leading tax rate service provider.
- Will you match prices with competitive retailers?
- We do offer a competitive/fair price on all merchandise and provide special offers on many items at a discounted price below some competitive retailers. Please also be aware that the merchandise sold in our Market Place is primarily to support the Bible.com ministry.
- How can I tell if the products I want are in stock?
- All products present in the Market Place are currently in stock. However, we suggest you do check back often as we update and add to our merchandise.
SHIPPING
- What shipping services do you offer and where do I choose this? When will my order ship and how soon can I expect to receive it?
- Shipping options are offered when you enter your shipping information with the address you would like your order shipped to. Orders normally ship by the next business day. Transit times depend upon the method of shipment you choose. All items are shipped out of Pennsylvania.
- POS Media Mail: 5-7 business days
- POS Priority Mail: 2-3 business days
- UPS 2nd Day Air: 2 business days
- UPS 3 Day Select: 3 business days
- UPS Ground: 1-4 business days, depending on the zone
- UPS Next Day Air: Next business day
- Do you ship Internationally?
- Our site is currently not equipped to ship internationally. Please check back in periodically if we are able to provide this service in the future. Thank you for your patience.
- Do you ship to military addresses?
- Our site is currently not equipped to ship to military addresses overseas. Please check back in periodically if we are able to provide this service in the future. Thank you for your patience.
GENERAL
- How long will items stay in my shopping basket? If I leave the site and return, will my items be saved in my basket?
- Items will only stay in your basket while you are shopping. Please be aware that once you close the shopping window or leave the site, your items will be emptied from your basket. So please confirm all purchases and Check Out before leaving the Market Place.
- How do I remove an item from my shopping basket?
- Go to the View Basket screen by clicking on the basket in the top right hand corner of your shopping screen. You will be able to view all items in your shopping basket. If there are any items that you want to remove individually, click on the shopping cart next to the item and it will automatically remove that item. If you would like to clear your basket completely, click on "Empty Basket" at the bottom of the list.
- Can I change the quantities of the items in my shopping basket?
- You can change the number of each item that is in your basket and then simply click the "Update" button below the list.
- Why do you ask me to register before I place an order? Do I have to register before I can place my order?
- Please register before placing your order. This service saves your shipping information to make it easier for you to shop and sign in again, in the future. We only ask for your e-mail address and shipping address and that you provide a password so only you can access your account.
- I forgot my password. How can I retrieve it?
- When asked to provide your sign-in information, please click on the link to retrieve your password if you have forgotten it. Enter the e-mail address you registered with and click "Get password". An e-mail will be sent to your address with your password information so that you can sign back in.
