Is stealing limited to just the practice of secretly taking something without permission? The 8th commandment forces us to look at our attitude towards possessions and our accountability to God.

Antonyms for dishonest: cheating, corrupt, debased, deceitful, false, fraudulent, lying, unsound, untrue, untrustworthy
1. Forbidden to steal another person
2. Forbidden to steal private property
3. Forbidden to steal non-material things

A. Reputation - by libel, or slander
B. Dignity - by humiliation
C. Trust - by deception, or promise for personal gain or favor
D. Intellectual property - software, music, movies, etc...
4. Forbidden to steal God's Word - Jeremiah 23:23-32, specifically v. 30
5. Forbidden to steal God's tithe (Malachi 3:8-9)
“Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions. You are cursed with curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you.”

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Kick Off begins Sunday, October 2.

We will host a Fall Festival on Monday, October 31st from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center. Volunteers are needed to help set up and donations for candy is needed as well. Contact Angela at the office to let her know when you can serve.
