Worship in Prayer

Let’s join together as the church to declare our gratitude and lift our requests to God as we surrender together to His will for us. Praying together is not limited to our gatherings on Sundays, we can pray together daily as the church! As you pray through these 6 areas, use this prayer guide to help your daily prayer focus all week long

Give thanks and pray:
- for your family
- for your church family, friends, and neighbours
- for our pastors, staff and church leaders
- for healthcare and front line workers
- for Our City and government
- for our EMCC denomination and our Mission Partners

Worship Through Giving

Giving back to God is a regular expression of worship, gratitude and praise.  See our giving options. Offering Prayer: God thank you for everything that you have provided to us. We give back to you as an expression of worship, gratitude, and praise for who you are. You are a good good father. Thank you that through this challenging time, we are assured that we do not need to worry, but trust that you will provide for our needs. Help us to be generous with what you have given, and lead us into opportunities to bless and serve others with the resources you have given to us. In Jesus' name. Amen

God refuses to calm every storm without also changing our hearts in the storm!

“Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.” v5

Whatever the storm that threatens you, you are not alone. God is closer than all of your fears.

“The Lord has heard of your misery.” Genesis 16:11

The Lord is near. No matter how you feel. No matter how crushed you feel. So let your gentleness be evident to all!

Learn to centre your heart in Him and learn to abide in His presence.
“Do not be anxious about anything but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” v6

We need to learn to start with Jesus who has everything and present our requests to Him.

Some of our deepest anxieties have deep root systems. They don’t become untangled by sheer will power or by trying to dismiss the problem.

When faced with an anxious situation bring the situation to God in prayer and learn to bring your heart also.

Our anxiety is not dealt with by solving the problem; it is dealt with by God showing us the roots and changing our heart!

The situation may or may not change but your heart can be transformed in every situation!
What difficult situation do you need to present to God?

What heart issue do you need to ask God for help to untangle?
