Aging and death are not fun things to think about, but the truth is that we all are going to die. We wrap up this series by looking at the last chapter of Ecclesiastes, asking the question, “Can we think about death, without ruining our whole life waiting for it?”

Who has helped you become wiser or more mature?

For what opportunities God has given you to learn about life can you give Him thanks? How can you respond to the seemingly meaningless aspects of life? How can you stay ever mindful of what Christ has done for you?

How do you “act decisively” when you “fear God and keep His commandments”? In what ways can you be a teacher to or learner from at least one other Christian?

Live It
As we bring our time with the Preacher to an end we find ourselves where we began with the words, “Vanity, Vanity. All is Vanity!” Ecclesiastes 12 teaches where hope can be found in the midst of the vanity. Our hope is through the death and resurrection of our Savior.
