He is risen! He is risen indeed! Hallelujah! This antiphonal cheer has been enthusiastically shouted out on Easter Sunday for generations. For many, the Easter truth is a wonderful reminder that, because Jesus lives, we too shall live. Because Jesus lives, there is the promised hope of a new heaven and a new earth where we will join together with all of our loved ones who died believing that Jesus truly is the Resurrection and the Life! Let’s celebrate with Easter joy, flower the cross with great enthusiasm, receive with Spirit-filled hunger, and leave awakened to God’s power for new life today and forever!
