GO DEEPER Study and Reflection Questions 8/21

Let's state the obvious: Our country is in desperate need of gifted, called, passionate, integrity-filled, character-filled leadership. As we are moving through the book of Ecclesiastes we discover that the preacher (Solomon) looks at life "under the sun", giving us a glance of some qualities of foolish leaders. In the context of leadership, please don't think you can exclude yourself saying, "But I'm not a leader". Everyone is leading something or someone (and even yourself!).

Live It
The twists and turns of life often tempt one to be foolish, because wisdom does not always quickly gain respect or results. Still, it is better, and possible, to follow the course of God’s wisdom. No matter how much foolishness may control every level of our society and life, we are to avoid it. God encourages us to wisdom and He promises life everlasting in Christ, our Wisdom.
