Daniel 2:26-28
“The king declared to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, ‘Are you able to make known to me the dream that I have seen and its interpretation?’ Daniel answered the king and said, ‘No wise men, enchanters, magicians, or astrologers can show to the king the mystery that the king has asked, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days.’ ”

What does this story/prophecy say to us about God?
The rock is none other than Jesus Christ.

What does this story say to us?
Earthly kingdoms are all transient and will not last.

Here’s the point: no matter how great the king or kingdom…it will end. It’s only temporary. God’s kingdom is the only one that is eternal and will win over all.

Revelation 11:15
"Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”

1. We need to sell out to what matters—God’s eternal kingdom.
2. We should wait expectantly and work diligently until He comes!
