Visit our website to hear this message (and any older message that you might have missed). We typically post the latest one on Tuesday afternoons.
https://baycitygracechurch.org/sermon/Reflect: Before you became a Christian, what was your understanding of God? Did you believe in a “god” at all?
Reflect: Why do you think God would use someone like Cornelius – an enemy of God’s people and a Roman Centurion – to convince Peter the Apostle that the Gospel was open to people like him?
Reflect: We’re told that Cornelius was devout, reverent, generous, and prayerful, how do those attributes signal to us that he may have been closer to God that we might suspect?
Reflect: John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, talked about the grace of God that goes before; he called it prevenient grace. How have you seen God working in someone’s life (or even your own) before you or they realized it; preparing them to receive Christ or an invitation to a deeper walk with God?
Reflect: What’s one thing you can take from this message and apply to your life?
Rest & Reflect: Days 6 & 7 are days of rest and reflection. Use these days to dig a bit deeper if you feel inspired.
