Anxiety in itself is not a sin; it is an emotion. It can lead us to sinful choices or we can choose to bring and keep bringing a powerful emotion to an all-powerful God.
It is very important to acknowledge that some people struggle with clinical anxiety rooted in physiological and psychological causes. There is no shame in seeking counselling and medical help if this is the case.
