Digital Focus of the Week: ZOOM Etiquette
Since we are all going to be on this together, we thought some general etiquette guidelines would be helpful. They are in the eBulletin and will be summarized during announcements as well as an introduction to the Chatroom. <br>1. Be sure to <b>MUTE YOUR MIC</b> as soon as…you sign on and whenever you are not speaking.<br>2. Please M<b>UTE YOUR VIDEO</b> if you are eating, scratching, leaving, talking with someone else in the room, multi-tasking (ie. Texting, playing games, etc) or anything else that might be distracting to others. <br>3. <b>You might want to use a headset</b><br><b>4. Sign on early</b><br><b>5. let others know that you are finished </b><br>6. I<b>f you want to speak raise your hand</b><br><b>7. ask questions and make comments silently</b><br><b>8. Be mindful of your lighting.</b><br><b>9. Be sure that there is nothing visually distracting</b><br><b>10. Make sure your whole face is in the screen</b><br><b>11. Do not forget that clothing is not optional! </b>
