Does God Care?

Does God Care?

When life is going well it is easy to forget about the goodness of God. We can become entitled and self-complacent. When life is not going well we can doubt God's mercy and care. How can we learn to trust God and recognize His goodness even when life is hard and when there seems to be no end in sight?

Worship Through Giving

Giving back to God is a regular expression of worship, gratitude and praise. See our giving options. Offering Prayer: God thank you for everything that you have provided to us. We give back to you as an expression of worship, gratitude, and praise for who you are. You are a good good father. Thank you that through this challenging time, we are assured that we do not need to worry, but trust that you will provide for our needs. Help us to be generous with what you have given, and lead us into opportunities to bless and serve others with the resources you have given to us. In Jesus' name. Amen

Pastor Sam - Does God Care?

Psalms 78:13-27

We need to tell our children and our children’s children the stories of God’s care in our lives so that they will put their trust in God and not forget His deeds.

God made a way for His people when there was no way.

God guided His people when they did not know which way to go.

God provided water from a rock for His people.

God’s people reached the point where they doubted God’s goodness, His care and His ability to provide in extreme circumstances.
God’s people had a distorted view of God.

The truth is God is good all the time, no matter how difficult the circumstances.

Do you remember a time when God provided a table for you in the wilderness?

Our God is gracious and generous.

When we crave life without God we may end up with the meal but not a relationship with God.

Do you worship Him or do you worship your cravings?

“Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Saviour.” Habbakuk 3:17-18
Are you seeking to bless others in response to God’s grace and generosity in your own life, even in small ways?

What table has God spread for you in recent days?

How can you bless others with a table of grace?
