SOLVE FOR X
In Genesis 22:13, Abraham found a ram to take the place of his son Isaac. In basic algebra, this is called the Substitution Property of Equality. Its when you take something out and replace something that is equal to it.
This was a foreshadow of Jesus taking our place as our substitute and being the sacrifice provided.

Scholars believe Jesus was referring to the exact moment Abraham declared the place He was in would be the place where God would provide.
- The Temple He was speaking in was the exact place where God spoke to Abraham at the foot of Mount Moriah.
- If you took a map of Jerusalem, you would notice Golgotha, Calvary, the Place of the Skull where Christ was crucified was at the top of Mount Moriah not too far away.
- When God was speaking to Abraham, could He have been foreshadowing what was to come?
