Do you know what most people in the world think about when they hear the word church – or Christian? (judgement, hypocrite, rules)

What does it mean to act like a Pharisee today?
How do you respond to Pastor Terry's statement: "We often sound more like the people that crucified Jesus than Jesus himself!"
Which side of the tomb are you living in?
Before resurrection the hope of salvation was found in sacrifice – but resurrection points to faith in God’s Son!
Before resurrection the cross was a sign of ultimate shame and guilt – but resurrection makes it a beacon of grace!
Before resurrection the tomb was the end of the story – but resurrection makes it a brand new beginning!
Before resurrection our sin had no answer – no cure – but resurrection removes our hopelessness and offers us new life!
Before resurrection we had no idea how to please God – but resurrection offers us the greatest example of walking in obedience we could ever see!
What does LOVE demand from me?
> what does love demand from me as I lead our imperfect church?
> what does love demand from me as I seek to repair broken relationships?
> what does love demand from me as I am confronted with friends who don’t vote like me?
> what does love demand from me as I listen to the heartbreak of another broken marriage?
> what does love demand from me as I search for words to comfort a grieving soul?
> what does love demand from me as I watch drugs and alcohol destroy family/family & life/life?
> what does love demand from me as I try to offer my best to my family & my church?
> what does love demand from me as I try to communicate that very love to world that is lost and dying and facing eternity with out the hope of God’s mercy?
What does LOVE demand from you today?
