http://bit.ly/2z61WwiOn the first Easter, when three women arrived at the tomb to properly prepare Jesus' body for burial, a young man dressed in a white robe, greeted them there. He told them two things that changed them, changed the disciples and eventually, changed the world. What he told them may inspire your own, personal spiritual awakening...
1. Jesus' tomb is empty.
We could spend weeks talking about this. Books and articles abound on the subject. I’ll just give one piece of evidence for the resurrection and the empty tomb. We just read the story about it from one of four Gosples that were written because the tomb was empty.
Four Reasons to Believe in the Empty Tomb
Was the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth found empty after his crucifixion? If not, then Christianity is the greatest lie in history. The apostle Paul says, “If Christ has not been raised from the dead then your faith is futile and you are still in your sins” (1 Cor. 15:17)...

See how hard work and scientific innovation epically failed these men from making history.

1. When in your life has something been a source of confidence that let you take risks or be willing to change or try something new?
2. What about the empty tomb gives you confidence and security?
3. What might be different for you, if it was suddenly discovered that Jesus didn’t rise from the dead?
4. In what ways could you risk or change even more, if the empty tomb was a stronger sense of a firm foundation?

2. Get going.
The message of "get going" gives us the power to change our lives and our world.
5 Verses On Being Set Free
The Bible clearly and repeatedly tells us that we are already set free in Christ, and that we need to live this freedom out for His glory...

1. Which are you better at celebrating the empty tomb or getting going?
2. Besides acts of service, what are some ways we get going in our lives?
3. Does the example of feeling locked in a jail cell resonate with you?
4. What kinds of things keep us in our tomb, in our jail cells?
5. Have you fully left your empty tomb? Are there things you have not left behind?
6. What will it take for you to leave those things behind?
7. What would freedom look like without those things?

Next Step
When you get dressed, when you make your meals, when you work, when you decide what you are going to do next, repeat this phrase, "Jesus, let’s get going."
