In this series, we are looking at the last week of Jesus on the way to Easter. Today we looked at the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. It was the climax of our human history. We looked at symbols and history and how it pointed to the cross and how Jesus died for us to be restored with Him. In view of the cross and His sacrifice, let’s receive His grace and extend grace.

2) Read Matthew 27:45-51. When the curtain in the temple split, it was a symbol of us now having direct access to God. What does the mean to you?

3) How can you receive or reflect God’s grace in a new way this week?

4) What does it look like to extend God’s grace for you right now?

5) How has the cross and God’s grace shifted your life?

Jesus thank you for the sacrifice on the cross. Thank you for dying for my sins. I want to live a life worthy of that grace that your love might fill me and flow through me. I confess my sins. Create in me a pure heart. Give me clean hands that you might work in and through me.
