1. Jesus has all authority to give us this command. He has all power and right to command us.

2. Jesus has given His promise along with His command. He promises, all the days of our lives, and as long as the earth still stands. Our comfort comes from the one with the power to offer it!

Make…called to make not just be!
All nations…16,000 diverse cultures in the world.
Baptize…a public declaration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ!
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit…our belief in the Trinity!
Teach…by observing, keeping, doing, and obeying!

1. Children and youth ministry are a significant part of the harvest. Two out of three come to Christ before the age of 18. 13% come to Christ between 18-21. 23% come to Christ after the age of 21.

2. How do children come to Christ? Parents 50%, Friends 20%, Pastor 7%, A special turning point 12%, Media 1%

3. How do adults come to Christ? Friends 19%, Mass Media 14%, Live event 14%, Relative 13%, Ministers 10%, Parents 8%

4. About 50% share their faith in some way but only 4% actually lead someone to faith in Christ.

5. What keeps us from leading someone to faith in Christ?
a. Fear is the number one reason!
b. Apathy is a very sad commentary on our lives.
c. Lack of knowledge hinders many.
d. Loss of contacts with those who need Jesus!

1. Love God and love people.
2. Live out your faith in your everyday life.
3. Practice your own testimony.
4. Be prepared with a method of sharing the gospel. A-Admit, B-Believe, C-Confess, and D-Decide
5. Know your spiritual gifts and find the place to serve in the process of making disciples.
6. Begin praying daily for opportunities to share your faith.
7. Build a prayer list that includes those you might reach.
8. Look for God to answer those prayers.
