The Lord calls all who follow His way to live generous lives - starting with the church. FCC faithfully invests all the funds it receives to impact the community and world for Christ. Thanks for your generosity by giving at the church today (stations available at the door or welcome center) or follow this link to discover online giving!
http://www.flushingcommunity.org/m_onlinegiving.php“Love is a choice, not a feeling. It is an initiated action, not a knee-jerk reaction. Choose today to be committed to love even if your spouse has lost most of their interest in receiving it. Say to them today in words similar to these, “I love you. Period. I choose to love you even if you don’t love me in return.”
God empowers us to love our family members as we submit ourselves to His Holy Spirit.
When couples walk through disappointment – they feel God’s grace and strength.
When couples grieve with each other – they feel God’s comfort.
When couples hurt each other – they feel the depth to what God will grant forgiveness.
Lord, I need you in my home. I need you in my marriage. I need you as I love my family, learn to forgive one another, see the best in each other and as I pray for all. With your help, I can learn to submit, love and honor each other and in doing so, see you so much more clearly. I long to see you my home. Amen.
> Take time to reflect this week on your family dynamics. Schedule a meal time or an evening together to discuss how your family expresses love.
> How can seeing God’s love for you inspire you to love those closest to you deeper?
