Volunteers for Egg Drop
It’s that time of year again! Before you know it, our annual egg drop will be here. It’s on Saturday, April 4, and we need over 100 volunteers to pull it off. Please sign up to volunteer online at hittheriver.com, at a kiosk, or on your connection card!

Registration for Egg Drop
The Helicopter Egg Drop is coming up on Saturday, April 4th at 9:00 am. You should have received an email link and password for River Family pre-registration to claim your free tickets. This event is limited to the first 500 children to be registered. It will be open for two weeks to The River Church family and their invited guests before opening to the public. If you did not receive an email and would like to register for the event, please email info@hittheriver.com.

Mommy & Me Tea
Mothers, Grandmothers, and Daughters: Join us for a special ladies tea party at The River Church on Saturday, March 7 @ 2:00 pm. Come together for a fun girls' date. Dress up in your tea party attire and join us for a fancy afternoon. We will enjoy tea, cookies, a craft, and sweets. This event is for all ages! If you would like to bake cookies for the event please contact Tami Richardson at Tami@HitTheRiver.com.

Third Worship Service
Beginning Sunday, March 1, we will be adding a third worship service at 8:30 am. This will be a family service. We hope to see you there!

SHAPE Class
God has uniquely gifted you to make a difference! Pastor Jeff Raker is offering the SHAPE class (Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experiences) on Saturday morning, March 14, from 9 - 11:30 so you can learn what your spiritual gifts are. Cultivating Prayer - Family
Prayer walking is a faith venture of bringing our burdens, cares, and visions before God concerning a particular location, group of people, activity, etc. We never know what God may do in answer to our prayers.

River 101
Interested in learning more about The River Church? Pastor Brad will be teaching our River 101 class on Sunday, March 8, 12:45pm-3:00pm. This is a great way to learn what we believe, how we operate, and where we’re heading. If you are interested in membership, the class is a prerequisite. Daylight Savings Begins
Daylight Saving Time in 2020 is on Sunday, the 8th of March. On the date when Daylight Saving Time (DST) starts, at 02:00, clocks are turned forward 1 hour to 03:00. Yes, you will lose one hour of sleep on that day!

River Youth- Hope House Meal Help
At the first of each month, our student ministry heads to Hope House Mission in Middletown to serve a meal for our homeless neighbors. Our next date to serve is Saturday, March 7th. If you would like to provide food or pitch in and help, please contact Pastor Zach at Zach@HitTheRiver.com. This opportunity is open to the congregation.

Israel Trip 2020
Visit Israel December 1-8, 2020 with Pastor Brad & Heidi! Walk where Jesus walked in Jerusalem. Be baptized in the Jordan River. Go out on the Sea of Galilee. If you’re married, renew your marriage vows in Cana. There’s a brochure on the credenza in the lobby with more information or talk to Pastor Brad and Heidi.

God wants us to see and respond to world events with anticipation of Jesus’ return.
