To what ends do you want your life to be a means?

We should all be knowing where our money is going
When we loose track of where our money goes: It takes over emotionally
We need a plan for tracking our spending
In the paycheck to paycheck seasons of life, knowing where it is going takes pressure OFF
In the seasons where there is margin, knowing where it is going puts pressure ON
When we track it, we are confronted with how much we spend on us and how little we give away
The more we make, the close attention we should pay to where it is going
If you aren’t careful, you will hoard for your future which will be an embarrassment later - Luke 12
60 Day Challenge: Pick percentage and give it away as soon as you get paid
Pay attention to the internal tension this creates in you
Discover what is at the center of your resistance

We are managers and not owners

The issue: Not the amount they were asked to manage but what they did with what they managed
They were simply managers and not owners
Money managers don't feel guilty
Money managers feel responsible and accountable for all of it
JESUS SAYS: “The reason you should track where you money goes; it is not your money.”
We should be knowing where our Master's money is going
Habit: Make it EASY and make it OBVIOUS
When you track it, it will be as if you got a raise
Create a system to track where your money goes and stop every once in awhile and take a look
How we manage our money speaks volumes about WHO and WHOSE we are
