Big Idea:Now that you know you’re really bad, it’s time to focus on what’s really good.

1. Focusing on what we do increases pride or depression
- The law written to the Jews was good for pointing out sin
- True righteousness is seen in Jesus, not the law

2. Focusing on God’s amazing good work increases joy and freedom
- Being justified - law term for vindication
- Being redeemed - cultural term for freeing slaves
- Being atoned for - religious term for receiving mercy

Romans 3:21-26

Core Value: Growing People Change

Now that you know you’re really bad, it’s time to focus on what’s really good.

1. What do you need to do to make God happy with you? If you don’t know the answer to that question write HELP on your card.

2. How great would it be to buy someone’s freedom from slavery? How great is it to see someone be saved from sin? Who are you praying for and who are you sharing the good news of Jesus with?
