PRAY: Ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you in His word today! Ask Him to slow you down enough to fully comprehend what He is saying.

REFLECT: Love is what kept Jesus on the cross. Knowing that Jesus would give his life for me, how does that motivate me to live my life for Him?

APPLY: How can this practically play out in my life this week? How can I better live for Him?

PRAY: Take a few minutes to thank Jesus for giving His life on the cross. Ask Him to remind you to live in light of His sacrifice this week.

PRAY: Ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you in His word today! Ask Him to slow you down enough to fully comprehend what He is saying.

CONTEXT: Mary Magdalene, a follower of Jesus, came to His tomb and saw it was empty.

READ: John 20:11-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:12-22

REFLECT: Do I truly believe the resurrection happened? What hope does the resurrection bring me?

APPLY: Who do I know that needs the hope of the resurrection? How can I share this hope with this person?

PRAY: In 1 Corinthians 15 Paul says if there is no resurrection, our faith is pointless. Take time to thank Jesus that His resurrection IS real and that we can have a real relationship with Him!

PRAY: Ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you in His word today! Ask Him to slow you down enough to fully comprehend what He is saying.

REFLECT: In what areas of my life am I doubting that Jesus is able to work? Be honest!

APPLY: Where have I seen Jesus work in the past in my life? Write or type out how Jesus is working in this situation.

PRAY: Take time to thank Jesus for working in your life in the past. Ask Him to make His presence obvious to you in any present or future trials.

PRAY: Ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you in His word today! Ask Him to slow you down enough to fully comprehend what He is saying.

REFLECT: When Peter heard about how he would die for Jesus, he turned his focus to John. Jesus told him to focus back on Jesus. Where in my life am I too focused on what other people are doing? How can I get back to focusing on what Jesus is doing in MY life?

APPLY: What does service (feeding the sheep) look like to me? How can I serve somebody today?

PRAY: Ask Jesus to help you keep your focus on Him and Him alone. Ask him to show you what true service to Him looks like and to give you opportunities to honor Him this week.

REFLECT: What did I expect to get out of this study back in Week 1? Did Jesus reveal Himself to me in a way I didn’t expect?

APPLY: How can I share what you have learned about Jesus in this study with somebody other than my group or spouse?

PRAY: Take time to thank God for how He has worked in your life the past 6 weeks. Ask Him to bring an opportunity to share what you’ve learned with somebody else. Ask Him to reveal something in His word that you should study next and come up with a plan to do it!
