DAY 11
PRAY: Ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you in His word today! Ask Him to slow you down enough to fully comprehend what He is saying.
CONTEXT: Jesus and John the Baptist are both reaching the same people and that is causing a discussion amongst John’s disciples.
READ: John 3:28-30
REFLECT: John humbled himself and realized Jesus needed to be greater than Him. Do I do the same in my life? Do I view Jesus as greater than myself?
APPLY: In my life, where do I need to decrease? Where does Jesus need to increase? (Answer this specifically to various aspects of your life. As a spouse, friend, employee, student, etc.)
PRAY: Ask that Jesus would take over each of these aspects from the previous questions. If it helps, physically open up your hands as a sign of surrender.
PRAY: Ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you in His word today! Ask Him to slow you down enough to fully comprehend what He is saying.

APPLY: How can I be obedient today? Family, work, friendships, etc.
PRAY: Ask Jesus to strengthen your view of His saving power.
PRAY: Ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you in His word today! Ask Him to slow you down enough to fully comprehend what He is saying.
READ: John 3:31-36

APPLY: How can I better show love and grace to someone who doesn’t see God’s love for them?
PRAY: Balancing grace and truth is very difficult. Ask Jesus to help you with balancing grace and truth this week. Ask Him to bring to mind a difficult situation where this may be required and ask Him for wisdom in that situation.

PRAY: Ask God for an opportunity to talk about Jesus with this person.
PRAY: Ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you in His word today! Ask Him to slow you down enough to fully comprehend what He is saying.

APPLY: What comfort does it bring to me knowing that Jesus will not throw me away?
PRAY: Thank Jesus that He will not throw You away. Ask for opportunities to share that hope with somebody else this week.
