River 101
Interested in learning more about The River Church? Pastor Brad will be teaching our River 101 class on Monday, October 14, 6:15pm-8:30pm. This is a great way to learn what we believe, how we operate, and where we’re heading. If you are interested in membership, the class is a prerequisite. Sign up online at HitTheRiver.com.
Barn Bash
The River Church will be going to the Niederman Family Farm on Thursday, October 17 for a fun evening of connecting and letting the kids play. We have the barn reserved for our church so we can eat and hang out together. It will be a great way to celebrate all the good things God has done this past year.
There will be two meal times to choose from (5:30pm or 6:00pm) in order to accommodate more families. There is no cost for the meal. We will send you a reminder email a few days before the event to remind you of the time you picked.
We are also selling discounted wristbands to get into the farm if you want to take your family to enjoy a hayride, bonfire, corn maze, smores and all the other fun things the farm has to offer. The wristbands are only $5 per person ($12 at the gate). Children 2 years old and under are free.
Pumpkin Glow
Experience a glow-in-the-dark family worship time, followed by a friendly pumpkin-carving contest and snacks. On Sunday, October 27, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, wear your costume and bring one pumpkin for your family and join us for worship, games, crafts, treats and more. Let’s glow for Jesus! Make sure to invite your friends! Please register online at HitTheRiver.com. This event will have gluten free options and will be ok for those with peanut allergies.
River Youth Mission Trip- July 2020
In July of 2020, our student ministry will be heading to Minnesota for our summer mission trip. While there we will be serving in different ways around the community in the name of Jesus. We hope your student will join us. You can secure your spot with a $50 deposit onHitTheRiver.com by Sunday, November 17th . River Youth- Food Olympics
For the month of November, our student ministry will be encouraging students to join us on Sunday Nights from 6:30pm-8:00pm for the Food Olympics. Each week there will be different activities and games for students to participate in to get their “country points.” This will be an epic series of events and we hope your student will join us. This is a great way to be introduced to Youth Group so come and join us!
Cultivating Prayer: Individually
You and your prayer partner may want to keep a prayer journal to help you tangibly see how God answers your prayers. It can be such an encouragement, especially during times of waiting for God’s answer.

In Need?
The River Church has a Deacon Team in place to address the needs of people who are in the midst of difficult circumstances. We invite people to contact us, whether for yourself or for another person at the River. If you want to be considered for help by the Deacon Team, it is as simple as sending a message to deaconteam@HitTheRiver.com. The Deacon Team is made up of 3 members: Vicki Chappell, Terry Daviaux, and Doug Lee. All requests are handled with confidentiality. The Deacon Team also helps provide boxes of food and personal hygiene products to people in need whether or not they attend the River Church.

Angels Among Us
There are times in life when we can be in a situation where a meal would be a blessing. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. Need Prayer?
There is a network of people ready to pray with you. On Sunday after each service there will be people up front in the worship center ready to pray with you. You can also email your prayer requests to prayer@HitTheRiver.com.
