North Platte Berean Church
Cutting Straight
If you knew your time in this life was quickly running out, and you could share just a few final words with loved ones, how intentional would you be with those words? How significant would you want them to be? What important truths would you speak? With death imminent on his life’s horizon, Paul pens the final letter of his ministry – his “last words” – to his spiritual son Timothy. And we have the opportunity to listen in on these intensely personal and highly strategic last words – words of great significance and power not just for Timothy, but even for us still today.

Creating Spaces – 2K22
We believe that by 2022, through God's grace and power, we will see 2,000 people baptized and growing in relationship with Jesus through the Word, prayer, and community.
How can you play a part? Pray for those who don’t yet know Jesus, and share your life with them so they can experience good news through your words and actions.

After hearing Paul encourage Timothy to seek the repentance and rescue of those who oppose the gospel, we might be tricked into thinking maybe it’s all downhill from here – things will just get better and better until Jesus returns. Or, maybe we fear those opponents won’t respond and things will just keep on going from bad to worse indefinitely. What’s the truth? What do we need to know and do to avoid being fooled?
