The Power of Devotion:

1. Devotion ENERGIZES and STABILIZES our faith so that we can live lives that are pleasing to God. (Acts 2:41-42)

a. Devotion means, we intentionally EXPRESS the affection of our HEARTS through the HABITS of our hands.

b. Devotion is a TEAM SPORT.

c. Devotion is for an AUDIENCE of One expressed in three ways:

i. HEARING God’s word taught.

ii. DOING LIFE TOGETHER with other believers.

iii. Relating to God through PRAYER.

The Power of Devotion:

1. Devotion ENERGIZES and STABILIZES our faith so that we can live lives that are pleasing to God. (Acts 2:41-42)

2. Our devotion creates room for God to demonstrate His generous love in multiple ways. (Acts 2:43-47)

a. God’s VALUE to us goes up.

b. God’s miraculous power is SEEN.

c. Our GENEROSITY increases.

d. Our hearts become GLAD.

e. God adds new BELIEVERS to our community.
