Worship Gathering - 20/20 Vision #2
Primary text: Luke 3:10-14
Focus:
Last week we started a sermon series on making sure we have 20/20 vision for our spiritual lives. We started off by looking at how all of life is a gift and that we need to rely on God if we ever hope to keep our focus on Jesus. As we continue to look for 20/20 vision, one area that can be tough is work. Work can sometimes feel like more of a distraction than an opportunity. How can we have a spiritual vision for work? See you Sunday at 10:30am.

Reflection Questions:
1. What is one thing that stood out to you from this week’s message?
2. On a scale of 1–10, how happy are you with your job (stay-at-home parent is a job!)?
3. Does the idea of changing jobs because you’re looking for a calling resonate with you? Or does it sound like someone you know? Please explain.
4. How important do you think it is to God that we work? What Scripture can you think of to support your answer?
5. Did anything in John the Baptist’s interaction with the soldiers and tax collectors surprise you?
6. What might God be wanting to use me to do... regardless of the job I have? Who is it that I am to be investing in? What special gifts or talents, that God is given me, does He want to invest in and use for His service? What are things I can do that both glorify God and bring joy to others?
7. How can we encourage and pray for each other in this?
