We are to act as a church body…
We are to Connect with Jesus,
Connect with each other,
Connect with our world.
What we just read was part of Paul’s thoughts regarding how we are to live as part of Christ’s Body….
Colossians 3:15-17 NLT
1. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…
Jesus Christ is the umpire in any man's heart
2. Let the message of Christ in all its richness, fill your lives.
What does that mean?

Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).
3. Sing songs, psalms and hymns to God with thankful hearts…
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SING ABOUT?

The question this morning is not whether you can sing… but whether you have a song to sing. If you don’t belong to Jesus, you don’t yet have a reason to sing.
4. Are you living with purpose?
And whatever you do or say, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus…

From his book Disciples Making Disciples by Francis Chan he wrote: Yet somehow many have come to believe that a person can be a “Christian” without being like Christ… A “follower” who doesn’t follow? How does that make sense?
Are with living life with His purpose? Are we living it with intentionality? Are we willing to make a difference, to be changed by Him?
5. You are the Lord’s representative…
One of the things I believe we forget is that if we say we are followers of Christ, then we are witnesses.

So What is MY job?
My job is to be a witness, an ambassador, a representative of Jesus.
Witnessing is telling others what Jesus has done for me and what He means to me.

Is He real to you today? Is it Jesus who makes the difference in your life?
Revelation 2:4-5 4 Yet I hold this against you: you have lost the love you had at first. 5 Realize how far you have fallen. Repent, and do the works you did at first.
