1 Peter 1:15 – “So be holy in all you do.”
1 Peter 5:12 – “I have written to you briefly, encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it.”

> Why is there suffering in the world?

> Can’t God stop suffering and pain if He wanted to?

> What about persecution around the world?

> How do Christians move past pain and loss? Is there any hope?

> How do I please God in a way that He blesses my life?

> Was I created for something or was I just born?

> Why do bad things happen to good people?
The question begins with our pain.
But the answer begins with our world view.

2 Peter 3:10-13 - “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming …

13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.”
2 Peter 2:1 – “But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you.”
2 Peter 1:12-21 – These verses remind us scripture is solid.
1 Peter 5:8 – “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

1 Peter 4 = Living for God.

1 Peter 3:8 = Reminds us of the importance of suffering for doing good.

1 Peter 2:11-13 = How to Live Godly in a pagan society.
1 Peter 1:15 – “But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do …”
1 Peter 1:1 (MSG) – “I, Peter, am an apostle on assignment by Jesus, the Messiah, writing to exiles …”
When you ask questions,
your answer comes from your world view.
1 Peter 5:6 – “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
Every setback can be a setup
for God’s mighty hand
to do something powerful in your life.
Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
1 Peter 5:7 (NLT) - “Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.”
Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Outside of a personal relationship with Jesus,
you will never discover your purpose in life.
