I. James and John show great pride… Everybody has pride like the disciples display in their lives.
II. Jesus commands another way: for believers to choose humility in love.
III. Two great examples of the humble love of Christ:
a. Jesus washes the feet of the Disciples
b. Jesus dies on the cross for the sins of all humanity.
IV. It is love that should drive our desire to serve not pride, legalism, or God’s need.
V. How are you showing your love through service?
