Why an entire book?

Going through an entire book will allow us to take in the complete message of the book the author intended for the original audience to hear and respond to.

Why Romans?

Romans is the clearest and most complete explanation of the Gospel in Scripture.

It has been said Romans is shallow enough for a child to wade in but deep enough for a theologian to drown in

What is going on in Romans?

Paul knew Rome was a strategic epicenter for the advancement of the Gospel around the world and that it was tremendously important for the Christians there to be united around the true and complete Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Going forward together.

Let’s ask God to fan into flame an intense, passionate response to the Gospel by many in our church family that would compel us to make this gospel known.

Five things that we can do to help ensure we get all God intends for us to get from this experience.
·Pray
> For a clearer, complete, compelling view of the Gospel
> For me (Pastor Casey) to prepare well and to remain dependent on
the Holy Spirit in preparation and preaching
> For God to protect this time together on Sundays
> For those who do not yet know or trust Jesus to come and to place
their confident faith in Jesus
> For God to show us who we each need to invite
· Commit – Determine to make this journey together a top priority.
· Prepare – Read the upcoming passage for the next week through at
least twice before Sunday.
· Invite – Ask God to show you someone you can invite to be a part of this
experience and then, trust Him and invite them.
· Share – As you come to know and experience the Gospel more clearly
and more fully, prayerfully look for opportunities to talk with
others about it.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
