1 In order to take that first step of faith, which is always the toughest, we must obey Jesus voice. It is not enough to hear Him call out to us and invite us to step out on the water. We must actually obey Him. "Come", he said. Para poder tomar el primer paso de fe (el mas difícil), tenemos que obedecer a la voz de Cristol. No es suficiente simplemente escuchar su invitación de salir del barco y caminar sobre el agua - tenemos que obedecerlo. "Ven", dijo Jesús.
2 In order to take that first step of faith, we must leave some friends behind. There will always be people in our lives who are not courageous enough to get out of the boat and follow Jesus. They may even try to discourage us or make fun of us. But we take that step of faith alone anyway. Para poder tomar el primer paso de fe, a veces tenemos que dejar algunos compañeros atrás. Siempre van a haber personas en nuestras vidas que no tienen la valentía necesaria para salir del barco y seguir a Cristo sobre el agua. 3 In order to take that first step of faith, we must leave the safety of the boat. Taking risks is scary and feels risky, but we have got to do it anyway.
