1. JESUS INITIATED RELATIONSHIPS
Matthew 4:18-20
As he was walking by the Sea of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon (called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishermen). He said to them, “Follow me, and I will turn you into fishers of people.” They left their nets immediately and followed him.
Matthew 18:21-22
Going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in a boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. Then he called them. They immediately left the boat and their father and followed him.
2. JESUS CHALLENGED HIS FRIENDS
Mark 9:33
“What were you discussing on the way?” But they were silent, for on the way they had argued with one another about who was the greatest.
Hebrews 3:12-13
See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has an evil, unbelieving heart that forsakes the living God. But exhort one another each day, as long as it is called “Today,” that none of you may become hardened by sin’s deception.
Orthodoxy: the teaching of correct doctrine and theology.

Orthopraxy: the practice of correct doctrine and theology.
James 1:22
But be sure you live out the message and do not merely listen to it and so deceive yourselves.
3. JESUS WAS VULNERABLE
John 6:66-67
After this many of his disciples quit following him and did not accompany him any longer. So Jesus said to the twelve, “You don’t want to go away too, do you?”
Matthew 26:38
Then he said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, even to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with me.”
1. How is it you look so young for your age?
2. What first brought you to SR?
3. Is there anything that I can pray for you about?
