North Platte Berean Church
The Healthy, Life-Giving Church...
The Church was intended to be a place of health and life. Too often she becomes corrupted by selfish motives and desires and the Church then loses her effectiveness. This isn't just a problem for the leadership of a church, but for the whole body since the Church is made up of people. How can we ensure that NPBC is a life-giving place? How can we take steps toward Church health? Join us as Scott Mathis (President of the Berean Fellowship) shares from the Word about the qualities of a Healthy, Life-Giving Church.

Creating Spaces
We believe that by 2022, through God’s grace and power, we will see 2,000 people baptized and growing in relationship with Jesus through the Word, prayer, and community. One key step? Creating spaces to reach more faces.

Don't just listen to the message. Let it speak into your life. Talk it over with your friends, coworkers, family, or Grow Group.

The healthy, life-giving church understands that...
To love Christ is to love His Church
My personal preferences cannot take precedence over the mission of the Church
I need to grow up
Honor the Elders of my local church
Everyone in my Church (including me!) has blind spots in their life
Everyone in my Church (including me!) has strongholds in their life
Recognize that Satan is the real enemy and wants you to quit, compare and complain.
Next Week's Text
We'll be resuming our Heart of a King Series as we look at 1 Samuel 18 and see that our reaction to comparison (pride of humility) will determine our future course (separation or connection).
