Tech Road 3 Year Anniversary Celebration, September 7: You won't want to miss this special Sabbath where we thank God for what has been done at Tech Road in the past 3 years. Pastor Will is going to share a special message that day as we reflect on God's goodness to us.

Discover Beltsville: If you are interested in officially becoming a member of our church, please talk to Pastor Will. He will be glad to set up a time to meet with you and take you through the Discover Beltsville Class which is the first step to joining our church. The class only takes 20 minutes and will help you better understand what we are all about and how you can get involved.

When was the last time you didn’t feel anxious about anything? Why were you so worry-free?

When you’re stressed out, what’s your go-to method of relaxing?

Of the four anxiety-causing mistakes Pastor Tim mentioned—running ourselves into the ground, shutting people out, focusing on the negative, and forgetting God—which mistake do you struggle with most?

Are there times you have fallen into each of these mistakes?

Read 1 Kings 19:11-12. What do you think of God speaking in such a quiet and peaceful way? What does that tell you about God?

Why do you think God desires for us to be anxious for nothing?

How can you reassure someone else of God’s presence who may be feeling brokenhearted or overwhelmed?

What causes us to be anxious at some moments and not anxious other moments, when our outside circumstances haven't changed?

Is our anxiety directly tied to our current circumstances? How does our current life-situation affect our anxiety?

How can you encourage yourself to trust that God will carry you through every difficulty you face?

Spend time in prayer this week and listen for the quiet voice of God. Trust that He is close by and will never leave you.
