Don’t Watch Your Step
We are often told, "Watch your step!" In other words, watch where you are going, tread lightly. But that’s not always the best advice. There are times when we can’t anticipate every possibility. Seldom does a familiar road lead to somewhere new. New, or uncommon wisdom, may dictate that we trust the process and trust God in the process.
1. Keep your eyes on the goal.
Hebrews 12: 1, 2
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.

2. Pay attention to what’s most important.
Matthew 6:33, 34
Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
