THE LAW OF GOD – EXPONENTIAL
2 Corinthians 9:6-8

I. Confront your two most powerful limiting beliefs
• About yourself: Worthiness – I do not feel worthy to have more.

Two truths here:
1. You are not worthy and you don’t deserve more.

Revelation 5:1–4 . . . And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. 2 Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” 3 And NO ONE in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it. 4 So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.

2. Worthiness does not affect the law of sowing and reaping

Galatians 6:7–8 . . . Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

• About God – “More is a sin”

John 10:10 . . . The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

1 Timothy 6:17–19 . . . Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. 18 Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, 19 storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

2 Samuel 12:8 . . . I gave you your master’s house and your master’s wives into yourkeeping, and gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if that had been too little, I also would have given you Much More!

Matthew 26:41 . . . Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeedis willing, but the flesh is weak.”

II. Reframe your Obstacles as your Opportunities

2 Corinthians 9:6–8 . . . But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
